From the desert flats to the heights of Jebel Hafeet

Human Powered Health left its mark on the 2026 UAE Tour Women against a backdrop of sweeping dunes, wide highways, and punchy sprint finishes. Maggie Coles-Lyster surged consistently in the fast finales, sprinting to 4th, 10th, and 10th across the opening three stages, continuing her strong return in what has been a comeback season after surgery to combat FLIA. Petra Stiasny also resumed from where she left off in Australia with a 106 km breakaway on the second day. When the road tilted skyward to the barren Jebel Hafeet mountain, the focus shifted. Nina Buijsman climbed to 19th on the queen stage, while Marit Raaijmakers delivered one of her strongest climbing performances in a WorldTour stage race, finishing as the team’s top rider in 19th overall.
