Team battles across the white roads of Tuscany
Gravel grinding and gladiatorial riding were the order of the day in Tuscany as Human Powered Health competed in another epic edition of Strade Bianche.
From the first sector of white roads to the brutish double ascent of Le Tolfe and its 18% pitches to the majestic finish in Piazza del Campo, the beauty of this Monument is almost unparalleled.
The team battled against setbacks and misfortunes throughout. Still, Barbara Malcotti made it to the line and the podium in Siena’s world-famous square, standing tall, having won the prize for the most attacking Italian rider.
The squad remains in Italy for two more WorldTour Classics, Trofeo Alfredo Binda on March 16 and the return of a Milano-Sanremo for women on March 22.
