Athletes unpacking their new gear at training camp got a pleasant surprise – custom helmets and eyewear from Bell Helmets and Oakley. The new partnerships bring with it a refreshed look and enhanced safety features to two of the most important pieces of any riders kit. The team’s helmets are a full-custom design, a collaboration between the design teams at Bell Helmets and Circuit Sport. Oakley provides a range of lense and frame options to fit every need, on and off the bike.
Established in 1954, Bell is synonymous with instilling confidence and enabling awesomeness. The team will be competing in three of Bell’s most advanced road helmets — the Z20 road helmet, the Star Pro aero road helmet and the Javelin time trial helmet.
“Rather than simply supplying helmets to a team, Bell wanted to truly collaborate with an American program which has grown steadily and continues to acquire and nurture the most talented North American riders,” said James Hibbard, Bell Brand Manager. “With Rally’s step-up to the pro continental ranks under Jonas Carney’s leadership, as well as their success at the Tour of California, Rally was a natural program with whom to partner.”
Headquartered in Southern California, Oakley is one of the leading product design and sport performance brands in the world. The team will be riding in the following sports performance eyewear: Jawbreaker, Radar EV, and EV Zero.
“Oakley is thrilled to partner with Rally Cycling, America’s top-ranked continental men’s and women’s cycling team,” said Cuan Petersen, Vice President Global Sports Marketing. “As the team continues to push the boundaries of what is possible in cycling in North America and beyond, we are proud to equip them with Oakley’s leading eyewear and technologies.”
Look for the new eyewear and helmets on the sparkling roads of Southern California as the men and women of Rally Cycling undergo a month of training before proper racing begins.
