A race quite unlike any other, for some, the 158.6km course was a question of survival, but for those few who could make the race their own, this unpredictable race was a chance to weave their names into the tapestry of the Flemish icon.
The 2022 edition was a truly historic and memorable affair for Human Powered Health. From race-animating attacks to cresting the legendary Koppenberg in the front group, the team showed what they are all about in key sections of ‘Flanders’ Most Beautiful’.

“The team really took care of me today. I was just chilling in the back and they really gave me the confidence because I told them like ‘guys I’m so good today and I’m feeling it’ and they were like ‘okay well we trust you so we’ll work for you’ and it felt amazing because they gave me so much strength. They don’t have to do something but just when people believe in you it give you so much energy and power and you really feel like okay I really need to do it now because everyone is depending on it.” – Marit Raaijmakers
