About Jesse

An ex-Belgian champion from 2019 and Flemish classics expert, Jesse is a leader on the bike as well as a boss mom off it. In 2022, Jesse won the national level Geluwe and PK Oost-Vlaanderen races, as well as finishing second behind Marjolein in the 1.1 Grote Prijs Beerens. In total, the Belgian amassed 14 top-10 finishes in 2022 and completed the inaugural Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.

Jesse grew up practicing many sports, among them soccer, gymnastics, swimming, running and dancing. At the age of 11, while living with her grandfather – who owned a duathlon/triathlon team – Jesse joined in with the events before eventually specializing in cycling. She still uses running for training which she says is a mental boost and one day hopes to complete an Ironman. Jesse’s five-year-old son Fabian is an avid cyclist racing in BMX, taking after her and her husband Giovanni. She brings him to races and is a constant source of inspiration for the Belgian. Off the bike, Jesse enjoys cooking for her family and doing activities to make them happy.
