Team partners with Lusíadas Saúde for Volta ao Algarve

Portuguese healthcare provider to feature on Rally Cycling jersey and vehicles

Rally Cycling is excited to announce the return of its partnership with Portuguese healthcare provider Lusíadas Saúde. The partnership includes a logo feature on the team’s jersey and vehicles during the Volta ao Algarve from May 5 – 9, as well as crucial medical services and testing that help the team race safely during the pandemic.

Performance Manager Jonas Carney noted the team’s gratitude at having Lusíadas Saúde as a partner for the race.

“After such a positive experience at last year’s Volta a Portugal, we’re delighted to be working with Lusíadas Saúde again. Their medical expertise helped our athletes stay safe in 2020, and we are so grateful for their support once again in Portugal.

Nuno España, Head of Lusíadas Dental and Outpatient Clinics, is also looking forward to working with the team again.

“Partnering with Rally Cycling during one of the biggest sporting events in Portugal helps us promote the importance of healthy living. We’ll be providing medical support and testing to the team during their visit and wish them all the best.”

Lusíadas, one of Portugal’s premier healthcare providers, is part of UnitedHealth Group’s expanding global business. To celebrate the partnership and further engage with Lusíadas’ employees, the team has created an activation around its “Get Ready For Tomorrow” theme. Employees were encouraged to share how they are getting ready for tomorrow by taking steps to improve their health. Also emerging from the partnership is a team-produced video series with athletes’ perspectives on mental, physical, and bicycle health. The series will roll out across Rally Cycling’s social channels over the coming weeks.
