Silvia Zanardi has extended with our team through 2025. The 24-year-old captured a top-ten finish and the intermediate sprints prize at the Giro d’Italia, and has been an important cog in the lead-out.
“I am so happy to be part of this team,” says Zanardi. “There is a lot of potential and every person on this team believes in the project and us girls.”
Developing as an all-rounder with a fast finish, Zanardi has raced over all sorts of parcours with starts in key Classics and stage races throughout 2024. Recently, she has performed strongly in sprints in Belgium, capturing eighth at Konvert Koerse and seventh in the GP Beerens.
“I have changed a lot of things and I feel more mature but I still have a lot to learn,” she says. “I am lucky because I have older and more experienced teammates who help me. Next year, I aim to start the season strong and find results right away. I will work this winter to get in my top condition.”

Zanardi’s particular highlight came at the Giro d’Italia Women where she sprinted to seventh on stage 2 before striking out from breakaways for the intermediate sprints competition.
“I felt strong emotions and had a lot of fun,” she says. “To stand on the final podium at my home race was a special feeling.”
Part of Zanardi’s education in her first year at the WorldTour level has been making our Pillars of Performance a key part of her routine.
“I have come to understand that serenity and tranquility are key words for me to find the right balance in my performance,” explains Zanardi. “The team puts a lot of focus into this. To see us always with a smile and be happy, I am grateful to be able to go to the races with this spirit and climate.”
Zanardi finishes her season with one days in France, Belgium, Germany, and Italy before traveling to the final WorldTour races in China.
