Rally UHC Cycling today announces a new partnership with Garmin. The team will be equipped with GPS bike computers and multisport GPS watches to help increase performance and improve recovery.

“Garmin makes a best in class product and we couldn’t be more excited for this new partnership,” said Managing Director Charles Aaron. “Having Garmin onboard to provide the necessary tools to improve rider health and performance is a game changer for our program.”

Race bikes will be equipped with Edge 1030 cycling computers while the team’s VIP/charity bike fleet will use the Edge 130 and Edge 520 Plus. Garmin cycling computers will provide data and key metrics to athletes, as well as GPS and navigational support.

Riders and staff will use the multisport GPS smartwatch, the fēnix® 5 Plus, to monitor the distance they travel, the calories they burn and how much quality sleep they get every night.

“Rally UHC Cycling is full of talented athletes and we are excited to get our innovative products onto their bikes to help with training, racing, and adventure,” said Susan Lyman, Garmin vice president of global consumer marketing. “Garmin has been a dedicated sponsor of professional cycling teams for more than a decade and we are proud to continue our commitment to the sport by providing the team with GPS bike computers and multisport GPS watches.”

The ever-expanding Garmin fitness segment develops technologies to enhance and promote healthy and active lifestyles for cyclists of all skill levels. Using an array of cycling products, including GPS computers and smartwatches, Garmin makes products that can help cyclists reach their health and fitness goals.
