Fee Knaven will step up to the WorldTour from 2027, signing with Human Powered Health through 2028.
Joining from the UAE Development Team, the 19-year-old from the Netherlands is a bright talent, developing her skills this year in a varied calendar. Knaven also scored top ten finishes in Festival Elsy Jacobs à Garnich and the stage 1 time-trial at the Vuelta a Extremadura Femenina along the way.
“I am super excited to join Human Powered Health,” Knaven said. “This is a big step up for me from continental level to WorldTour level, and I’m excited to make the transition with this professional team.”
The signing further demonstrates the team’s commitment to nurturing and developing athletes in a supportive environment, with access to best-in-class facilities and expertise through the Human Powered Health Performance Labs.
“Fee is a young rider with a lot of potential, and we are very excited to welcome her,” said Ro De Jonckere, General Manager. “What stood out to us is not only her talent and ability on the bike, but also her ambition and willingness to keep learning and developing.”
From a cycling family, Knaven is one of four sisters, following her siblings onto the bike at the age of six. She has been racing on a national level since 2023.
“I’m still finding my way, but the races I like most now are stage races, preferably with a time trial, and the races with some little climbs,” she explains. “I am looking forward to developing my time trial more and just riding as a team and helping my teammates.”
The acquisition of both experienced and emerging athletes is a cornerstone of the program’s continued evolution.
“As a team, we are committed to building for both the present and the future,” says De Jonckere. “Alongside bringing in experienced riders who can immediately help us compete at the highest level, it is equally important for us to identify and develop the next generation of talent. We believe Fee fits perfectly into that vision.”
This goal is a shared confidence in Knaven’s potential.
“Fee is still at the beginning of her professional career, but we see a lot of qualities that give us confidence in what she can become,” continues De Jonckere. “Our goal will be to give her the right environment, support and opportunities to continue her development without putting unnecessary pressure on her. We are excited to be part of that journey and to see how far we can go together.”
