Human Powered Health is excited to reveal the new Factor OSTRO VAM in stunning 2024 team colors.
Tested by Ruth Edwards at the Deakin University Elite Women’s Road Race last month, the design seamlessly blends into the team kit on the new bike. Designed by Factor for all-around speed and shaped around precisely managed aerodynamic gains, the new platform races just as good as it looks.
“New bike day is always exciting,” says Edwards. “It’s a super fun bike to race on. In Australia, it felt really fast and responsive and of course, it looks great too.”
Like Human Powered Health athletes who achieve a symbiotic relationship between movement, fuel, mindset and recovery, Factor understands the importance of balance in all-around performance.
Designed with what Factor calls their ‘front-to-back’ approach, the bike balances weight, stiffness and aerodynamics in perpetuity, resulting in pinpoint handling, immediate power transfer, comfort across cobbles in the Classics, and low weight for performance in the mountains.
After hundreds of simulations, Factor optimized key areas of previous OSTRO models. The forks, head tube, top tube, and seat post all underwent subtle transformations to increase speed, stiffness, and decrease weight. . The new Black Inc 48/58 wheelset, developed alongside the OSTRO VAM, gives our athletes even greater control and speed in all conditions.
