Amgen Tour of California Women’s race Empowered with Sram

Rally Cycling arrived in Sacramento, California on Wednesday for the Amgen Tour of California Women’s race Empowered with Sram. The three-day race starts with a 124 km circuit around the city of Elk Grove on May 17th, where the sprinter’s teams will fight it out for the first yellow jersey. Stage two heads up to Lake Tahoe for the queen stage. While there, the riders will face three KOM’s including the massive eight-mile ascent of Kingsbury Grade. Stage three’s circuit race in California’s capital of Sacramento will be a showdown between the general classification teams hunting time bonuses and the sprinter’s teams looking for a chance at stage glory.

The race follows the team’s recent success in the Redland’s Bicycle Classic and New Mexico’s Tour of the Gila. Rally Cycling will start Erica AllarSara Bergen, Kirsti Lay, Katherine MaineSara Poidevin, and Emma White.
