The Factor ONE sits as the cutting edge of aero performance. It’s a bike engineered from the ground up to slice through wind and deliver every watt with maximum efficiency.
This one-of-a-kind bike is a core piece of our fleet and will deliver our sprinters to the line throughout the year.
The Factor ONE isn’t just another aero bike, it’s a leap forward in high-performance road racing technology. Here’s what sets it apart.
Pictured is Austrian champion Kathrin Schweinberger’s machine.
1. Industry-leading aerodynamics
The Factor ONE is the world’s fastest UCI-legal road bike thanks to its radically optimised frame shape, designed around airflow performance rather than tradition. Factor’s own data suggests it’s up to 15% faster than leading aero rivals and more than 22% quicker in wind tunnel drag tests.
2. Revolutionary front-end design
The ONE’s distinctive Bayonet Fork + “Chin” fairing system is immediately eye-catching. It’s not just for looks – it actively dictates airflow at the front of the bike, redirecting drag away from turbulent zones and sustaining aero gains even as yaw angles increase when crosswinds come into play.
3. Geometry
It’s not just tube shapes that make the ONE fast; the geometry is built for how racers actually ride, with a forward-biased position, narrower bars, and shorter cranks optimised for power and aero balance.
4. Integrated cockpit
By ditching a traditional stem and adopting a fully integrated bar system, the ONE reduces frontal area and streamlines airflow right from the rider’s hands, shaving critical watts where it counts most.
5. Tested beyond the lab
Factor didn’t stop at simulations. A prototype made a splash last year with real-world results. Lily Williams even raced on one at the Tour de France Femmes.
6. The tools that built it
The ONE’s development involved intensive Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and iterative wind-tunnel testing, allowing engineers to refine airflow across every surface of the bike so it cuts through the air like a hot knife through butter.
7. Maintains aero advantage in crosswinds
The ONE is fast across the board. Unlike some aero bikes that excel only in straight-on headwinds, the ONE holds its aero benefit deeper into crosswinds, keeping its speed advantage in a variety of racing conditions.
8. Inspired by track speed
To the untrained eye, you’d be forgiven for thinking the ONE was a track bike. That’s because Factor brought lessons from its Olympic-record-breaking track projects directly into the ONE’s design. The same minds that went into the gold medal-winning bike that powered the Australian men’s team to team pursuit gold at Paris 2024, poured all of those findings into the ONE.
9. Stability meets speed
It’s not just about speed because the ONE’s carefully considered geometry ensures that handling and balance are preserved, even as our sprinters adopt aggressive, high-power positions.
